Four simple steps

Four simple steps to your printed story:

1. Preparation and planning: We will have a conversation to get to know each other, and to find out which areas of your life you wish to cover and those you really want to focus on. Your writer will then plan your interviews to make the most of your time.

2. Interviews: Your writer will arrange a time to call you via video call, phone call, or an in-person visit, so that you can begin recounting your life story. Don’t worry, your writer will have lots of cues and questions to help you along your way! Really, it is like telling stories to family or friends, the only difference being that your writer will record your stories and edit them into a book.

3. First draft and photos: After the interviews are completed, you will have the opportunity of seeing the first draft of your book. This is always such an exciting moment, and it gives you the chance to add any edits or give feedback before we do the final proof and book design. This is when you will be able to send us some photos to include in your book.

4. Your books delivered: Once book design is complete and you have signed it off, we will get your books to the printers! We are confident that your bespoke books will bring a smile to you and your loved one’s faces.
